What kind of Electric Vehicle can use Cornerstone Public Charging Station?

The current charging services provided by the Cornerstone Public Charging Service have covered most of the common electric vehicle brands in Hong Kong. The plug styles are Type 2, CCS2 and CHAdeMO, and it also supports AC medium speed and DC fast charging.

What payment methods does the Cornerstone EV Charging App currently support?

Cornerstone EV Charging App support various of payment method, including: Credit Card Payment, Apple Pay, Google Pay, WeChat Pay and Alipay.

If the customer would like to refund, HK$30 of handling fee will be charged, and customer will need to fill-in a refund application form. Please contact our Customer Service Team for follow up. In case of any dispute, Cornerstone Technologies remain the final decision right.

What are the charging speeds at the Cornerstone Public Charging Stations?

Cornerstone chargers are divided into two types: AC medium speed and DC quick: AC medium speed: 7kW (single-phase 32A) and 21kW (three-phase 32A) DC Quick: 30 – 200kW (3-phase 32A) See the instructions on the charger for details.

How do I know my electric car is fully charged?

Cornerstone EV Charging Mobile App supports real-time charging status. Users can check the charging status of their EV directly in the mobile app.

How many charging guns does a Cornerstone charger have? Can I charge multiple Electric Vehicles at the same time?

Some of the quick chargers at Cornerstone Charging Station will have more than one charging gun to support different plug types, but one car can be charged at a time.

Is there a certain difference between the power provided by the charger and the power actually put into the battery by the vehicle?

Due to the influence of various factors during the charging process, such as physical energy conversion losses, the amount of electricity provided by the charger may differ from the actual amount of electricity charged into the vehicle’s battery. Our company will use the amount of electricity provided by the charger as the basis for billing.

Do Cornerstone Charging's products and services meet international standards?

Cornerstone chargers are certified by the IEC61851 International Standard and fully comply with the technical guidelines of the Hong Kong Electrical and Mechanical Services Department, ensuring safe charging and energy saving.

What qualifications does the engineering team of Cornerstone have?

Cornerstone is a registered electrical contractor with the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department of Hong Kong, which can engage in fixed electrical installation works, including installation, inspection, testing, repair or modification of electrical installations. Our engineering team is also registered as electrical engineers, providing professional and reliable services.

How do I let the future buyer know about the installation work constructed in the parking space when I sell the property?

The professional team of Cornerstone will sign the form WR1 Work Completion Certificate. Property owners can provide the certificate to the buyers for the construction details.

Can a tenant of the parking space install an EV charger?

If the person who sign the contract is a tenant of the parking space, authorization of the parking space owner is required to start the construction work.

How can I download the "Cornerstone EV Charging" Mobile App? And what is the supported version?

You can download the “Cornerstone EV Charging” Mobile App on App store / Google Play by searching “Cornerstone EV Charging” on mobile devices. The Mobile App supports devices using iOS 13.0 or above, and Android 8.0 or above.

Why does the Cornerstone EV Charging log out automatically?

For security reasons you cannot login to the Cornerstone EV Charging App on multiple devices at the same time. If you log into your account using a second device, the first device you logged into the account with will be logged out.　

What is eCoupon?

eCoupon is the discount value during promotion period. The redeemed charging quota will be added to the e-wallet automatically. The charging quota is neither transferable nor refundable.

Will the charging quota expire?

The charging quota does not have an expiry date unless you delete your account. The charging quota of a deleted account will be voided.

What should I do if I cannot download or open the Cornerstone EV Charging App?

Please follow these instructions if you cannot download the app:

– Check your device to see if it supports the version of iOS or Android required for the Cornerstone EV Charging
– Check the network connection, ensuring that your device is connected to the internet & reboot your device
– Check your device has more than 100MB of storage available
– Make sure the Download Manager is turned on (Android only)

Please follow these instructions if you cannot open the app:

– Reboot your device
– Delete Cornerstone EV Charging app and reinstall the latest version of the app from the App Store or Google Play Store
